Nocturnal web surfing

Posted by Proottalfain Mar. 16, 2008 @ 12:45 AM EDT

We probably all have been doing that.
It's starting to be late,
you are beginning to get tired, but you continue surfing the web.
You just continue,
not because it's very fun, only because you don't ask yourself the question.
You see the time:
11PM...
00AM...
1AM...
2AM...
At some point you think "I should go to bed", but you don't answer yourself, and continue.
If it is currently the case, or you already have experienced this, comment here. Say how you feel, what you think, etc.

It depends. It can be awesome or awful.

Worst feeling in the world for me. Procrastination is one of my biggest pet peeves and catching myself doing it usually doesn't end well.

True. Maybe not the worst feeling, but I'd say the worst is the day after.

I both love it and hate it when I do that. It's much like you described it. I see 11 P.M. and think, "Okay, time to go to sleep." I turn off my TV and look at my laptop. My parents are fast asleep, they can't hear the light pitter patter of my typing. I promise myself that I'll just go to sleep when I finish whatever I was doing or going to do. Then suddenly I realize,"Hey, I don't have anything to do anyway!" I continue my quest for nothingness on my computer, no matter how bored I get. I finally decide to look down at the bottom right corner of the screen. "3:28?!" I think to myself,"What the hell am I thinking?! I have to wake up in less than four hours!" At this point I slowly convince myself to finally go to sleep.

Actually it's less worse for me, I don't play on computer till 3:28 AM on a school day. Happy it happens the same to someone else.
