Good song, touching, like always. My kid-self would have been proud of me, not because I accomplished many things (I got not much money, never had a GF, though I'm 17, got no car nor a driving license), but because I stand tall, while as a kid I was letting some guy not tougher than me stomp me. I've seen this guy last year (didn't see him for 4 years before that), and I'm sturdier than him physically and mentally.

That makes me really happy man. I'm glad that things got much better for you :) And that you would be happy with yourself .

You did much better on other songs, and I didn't like the piano starting around 1:00. I'ma go get my whip now. And to answer your question ("i'm curious as to how people are finding it hehe it's been buried for a while now."): each time one of your songs gains popularity, people who like your style listen all your "discography".

Your damn emotional songs that touch right-to-the-heart just remind me that I'm a poor lonesome guy in need of a girlfriend. Conclusion: You succeeded at touching NG's heart, or at least mine. <off-topic>Now I wanna go shop for a new LCD panoramic monitor :P</off-topic>

Indeed, it's ambient. It's the kind of song to listen while being concentrated on something else.

Not enough things happening. I find this song somewhat... empty. Like space, one would say. Yeah, but space is boring. This is definitely not your best song.
Author's Response:
hahahha yeah, this was actually like .. the 3rd or 4th song I ever made The only good thing I like about it is the guitar lead near the end.

"reminds me of Linkin Park"
The techno-style drum reminds me of linkin park, I hope you won't take it as an insult (Linkin Park doesn't have a good reputation on NG). I used to like Linkin when I was 13-14, and this song has the good part of it. Gratz (and also thank you for replying to my comment on «the fire»)
Author's Response:
hehe i've learned to not take that one as an insult. I actually hear it alot on this track. :) Thank you again proot, your reviews are always a pleasure

I like it. Favorited because it's heart-touching. The 8-bitness gives it more emotion than a guitar would, it gives it an unreal feel, as if the person thinks his own life is distant... That was philosophical.

And i totally loved your review. It actually made alot of sense, it was not the intention of the song originally but definitely adds to the depth.

It doesn't sound like Hell March, but it's still very good! I particularly like how you played with the stereo (I'm wearing a headset).
