I just contacted a bunch of German people.
I just got the Rosetta Stone program to learn French. Although it is expensive, it's definetly worth it. I was saving up, and I'm amazed. It's much better than anything else I've tried.
It makes everything fun, too. It'll have you mainly-fluent in 6 months, if you follow procedure. Reading, writing, speaking, listening.
Of course, if you have other ways, I'm sure they're great too. Good luck, man.

Well, just keep on continuing. The more you speak, write and hear it, the better you will get. I've learned english the exact same way.
